The İstanbul-based band that brings folk-rock and jazz together with eastern elements.

The band was conceived in Galata in 2010. KAM, consisting of Can Ömer Uygan (Trumpet, Flugelhorn), Cansun Küçüktürk (Electric Guitar), Okan Kaya (Bass Guitar) and Cihan Kahvecioğlu (Drums), has since attained an organic refinement in their concept and taste. In their performances, the band revolved around experimental folk-rock and jazz and succeeded in blending eastern elements into their music while doing so. Their eponymous debut album is to be released on November 15 from Shalgam Records label. KAM shared their first single “Amad” and its video on November 8, as a precursor of things to come. We shall witness the whole story at their first concert at Salon İKSV on November 26.
