The Dutch-born musician and singer currently residing in Berlin that makes his passion for electronic music felt in every note of his dynamic synth-pop music and every word out of his mouth.
When Thomas Azier was only 19, he moved from his native Holland to Berlin in order to find his musical identity. Azier has worked with many musicians including Diplo and Stromae. His first album Hylas, inspired from Berlin’s extremely colourful nightlife and techno clubs, was released in 2014. After a very long tour, he moved to Paris. Paris played a major role in the creation of Rouge, his second album, released in 2017. Both of his albums received the Edison Award, one of the most prestigious music awards in the Netherlands. His journeys from Paris to New York and from Berlin to Amsterdam gave life to Stray, his latest released 2018. Stray, all composed on the road, caused an interesting change in the artist's creation and production process. This change resulted in the entire album being recorded in hotels and rental apartments with a laptop and USB microphone. He has performed at important festivals such as Best Kept Secret, Lowlands and Eurockéennes as well as having sold out club concerts at Paris, Amsterdam and New York. Thomas Azier is coming to Turkey for the first time.
